Throughout the years I have tried to set dreams for myself, my greatest dream was to someday have one of my pieces in the Smithsonian National Museum of American Indian. Well "Dreams Do Come True." One day I received a phone call telling me, this is "The Smithsonian, National Museum of American Indian, New York." Yes I had the same thoughts, "Yeah right." Well it was true, Jorge Estevez, from the NMAI New York was on the phone asking if I would be interested in teaching a workshop on my Cattail Dolls. He thought they were the dolls made from the cattail reeds, but actually they are stuffed with "Cattail Fluff." The workshop was Spring 2009, I met some wonderful people visiting the museum, taking my workshop and made a doll while there which was left with them. See, Dreams do come true and sometimes double. I was asked back again in 2011 to teach a Dreamcatcher Workshop and visit with patrons from around the world. My Daughter Christian and Grandson Michael went with me the second time and we had a great time.

My Favorite Saying is "Never, Never, Never Give Up," which I learned in Ojibwe is Gego wiikaa aanishiitangen meaning "Never Give Up" Because Dreams Do Come True.
